5.19.19 day 1

A 3am arrival time didn’t dampen my next day spirit or energy! The day began with the most pleasant chat with a friend I’d just met once almost 2 years ago. We caught each other up on life happenings and shared wisdom on the holiness of work, the journey of finding purpose, and what makes great structural design. It’s incredible to be able to connect with someone again like we’d known each other much longer than we actually have.

The connections continued throughout the day as I met more folks for brunch and a brief walk around downtown Minneapolis. The air was chilly af but our hearts were warm 💕
